We Love Kids!

Have kids? No worries, Genesis Church has you covered!! 

What programs we offer & where:

 

  • Nursery - Ages 0-3yrs old - Located upstairs by the bathroom. 
  • Preschool - 3yrs old - 5yrs old (must be out of diapers) - Located downstairs across from the fellowship hall. 
  • Elementary - Kindergarten - 5th grade - Located downstairs next to the west stairwell.
  • Teens - 6th grade - 12th grade - Located in the fellowship hall. 

 

 

Get Started: 

 

  • For All kids - Class starts at 10am! Check-in starts at 9:30am on Sunday mornings. All kids need to be checked-in & have a name tag before going to class, for safety & pick-up.
  • For Ages 0 - 5th Grade - kids can check-in & go to their age appropriate rooms starting at 9:30am & remian there for the remainder of the serivce.
  • For Teens - they start in the auditorium for worship & are dismissed to their age appropriate room with their trained volunteer when worship time is over.  

 

You can save some time checking in your kids by texting "CHECK" to 740.212.2002 on a Sunday morning & following the prompts.

Feel free to contact the office at 740.251.0169 or talk to a volunteer a the registration table on Sunday morning. Our Children's Director, Michelle Cusimano, will also be able to answer any questions that you may have on a Sunday morning & help you through getting your kids to Kids Church. 

SAFETY

Volunteers at Genesis are trained to create an atmosphere where families can confidently leave their children while they are in service.

 

Every volunteer is screened with a background check & the kids hallway is monitored by security personnel. Don't worry parents - we've got this!

 

PS: Registering your child, allows us to text you in the event your child needs you. We will text your phone first, if your phone is off or unable to receive texts, a pop up requesting you will appear on the screen in the main sanctuary.

WHAT WE TEACH

Your kids will experience an age appropriate lesson that will teach them about God & His love for them. The teaching is interactive and utilizes multiple approaches for different learning styles. The goal at Genesis Church is for kids to understand who Jesus is & how He can make a difference in their lives. They will also have a lot of fun!

What we are learning in Preschool & Elementary 

Kids will learn Bible lessons teaching them all about the real stories of Easter. From Palm Sunday to Passover, From Jesus' death to His resurection. They will also learn about Holy Week and end with a one of a kind event called BUILD A BASKET!
